What the results are
- Results are made automatically from a site’s public pages and public records, such as domain registries and popularity lists, at the time shown on each result.
- They describe what we found: not facts about the people or businesses behind a site, not accusations, and not advice to use or avoid it. A low score means few signals were found, not that a site is dishonest (see how we check).
- Results can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Check anything that matters before you act on it. Nothing here is legal, financial or security advice.
Using the scanner
- Look up public websites at a reasonable pace; no automated or bulk use of the site.
- Don’t use CheckAnySite to harm anyone, or present our findings as something they are not.
- We may limit or block use that puts the service or the sites we scan at risk.
Sites we describe
- Names and trademarks of scanned sites belong to their owners. We show them only to identify the site.
- Site owners can ask us to correct or remove a result; see corrections and removals.
- Our scanner identifies itself and follows robots.txt; see CheckAnySiteBot.
No warranty
CheckAnySite is free and provided as it is, without any warranty. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for decisions made on the basis of its results.
