How we work
- Evidence, not verdicts. Every answer shows where it comes from, and when. We describe websites; we never judge the people behind them.
- We test ourselves. We check our answers on sites we know, and publish what we get wrong (how we test).
- Changes are public. Every change to how we find things, and every mistake we fixed, is in the changelog.
- A person reviews every correction. Anyone can report a wrong finding.
- Polite scanning. Our scanner says who it is and follows robots.txt (about our scanner).
What nobody can buy
Nobody can pay us to change, hide or remove a result. Site owners who ask for a removal get it for free, and it is never for sale. We have no advertisers today; if that changes, ads and affiliate links will be labelled and kept apart from results.
How it is paid for
Single scans are free and stay free. Later, paid plans for heavy use, such as bulk scans and an API for agencies, will pay for running it.
Who runs it
CheckAnySite is made and run by one independent developer, without investors or advertisers. Write to hello@checkanysite.com.
