What happens next
- A mistake we fix is fixed for everyone, listed in the changelog, and the result is scanned again.
- Outside records (the domain registry, popularity lists, the web archive) are corrected at their source; we show their date.
- To stop future scans, block CheckAnySiteBot in your robots.txt (how).
Removing a result about your site
Send the result’s address and proof that you run the site: verify your site first (a DNS record or a file), or write from an address on its domain. Removed results stop appearing on the site and in search results. Removal is free, and nobody can pay us to change or remove a result.
